The Junkers A50 Junior had its maiden flight in February 1929. In this year, 69 aircraft were manufactured, which set a number of FAI world records. Various European and world record flights were also carried out with the A50. Famously Marga von Etzdorf, who was the first woman to fly from Berlin to Tokyo in 1930 with her Junior A50.
This aircraft had the potential to become the people's aircraft, but in a short space of time, the global economic crisis intervened.

Safety and quality combined with passion and ease
In 1928, what was to become the most successful Junkers sports aircraft left the Dessau production plant for the first time: a single-engine, two-seat, low-wing aircraft with an oval fuselage cross-section and corrugated sheet metal skin. The prototype was equipped with an 80 HP Armstrong-Siddeley engine.
Astonishingly, she had a take-off weight of a mere 600kg - a light aircraft from the very beginning.

Once again, Dieter Morszeck realised a dream - the idea of an ultralight aircraft for the young and young at heart,
which combines great flight characteristics, modern safety standards with the potential for freedom and adventure.
A special aircraft, the new A50 Junior comes packed full of the latest technologies, including the 4-cylinder Rotax engine,
MT Mühlbauer propeller, Beringer brakes and GARMIN flight instruments.
The built-in Galaxy rescue system ensures outstanding levels of safety.
The first deliveries of this magnificent and unique aircraft will take place in April 2022.
Inspired by the actual birth of the A50 (1929), the first 29 aircraft will be sold at an introductory price of 179,000 Euros (incl. VAT).
